Character Strengths: Individual Motivation and the Social Context

This study was aimed at identifying and evaluating the role of society in the development of character strengths. Within the framework of existential analysis, this topic takes the form of a question of the character strengths of the individual as a whole. The purpose of this paper is to analyze this concept and related issues. I conduct a study of literary sources within the framework, systematization and generalization of the results obtained during the study. A positive consequence of studying the issue is the influence of character strengths on the development of mental disorders, getting rid of personal crisis states, as well as the release of internal resources. The conclusions of the work can be used in further research. The results obtained in this work can be implemented in psychological practice.
