Notwithstanding the fact that only 5 years have passed since the launch of the TikTok short video platform, this service is gradually acquiring the status of one of the most prominent social networks both in Russia and in the world. The current study will investigate the educational aspect of the above-mentioned social network as a means of learning French. The tendencies of the educational system towards informatization and technologization, as well as the strong popularization of online learning in general, determine the relevance of this paper. The aim of this research concerns the implementation of the technology of teaching French through the use of the TikTok social network. As a result of this study, it is expected to assess the quality of French language learning through the social network TikTok. In addition, the present study provides methodological guidelines for teaching.
