Annotation for the master's thesis "Impact of New Ways of Working on Employee Well-being". Author: Marianna Simonyan. Advisor: Kabalina V.I. This paper analyzed the impact of New Ways of Working (NWW) on Employee Well-being. With New Ways of Working employees themselves have the right to choose when they work, where they work and which technological tools they use to implement the work. Employee Well-being is broadly defined as the quality of experience and functioning at work, or the degree of happiness, quality of relationships, and health. This work is based on the PERMA model, which considers Well-being in the following aspects: positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning and purpose, and accomplishment. Employee health, negative emotions, feelings of loneliness, and happiness were also measured. The main questions that determined the motivation for the study were: How do employees feel about NWW? Is there a positive relationship between NWW and Well-being? The main problem is that NWWs have a complex relationship with Employee Well-being, while their use is growing rapidly in organizations. The aim of the study is to identify the presence, nature and direction of the relationship between New Ways of Working and Well-being, as well as between their components. The results of the work confirmed a positive relationship between New Ways of Working and Well-being and such metrics as engagement, productivity and health of the respondents. It was also revealed that a positive correlation exists between the use of digital technologies and positive emotions of employees and between remote work and the presence of meaning in work. No form of relationship was found between NWW and loneliness. In general, employees who work with flexible hours consider themselves to be happy.
