Abstract to the thesis on the topic "Governmental medical equipment market development regulation in the Russian Federation: current situation, main issues and prospects. Research includes 67 pages, 3 tables, 7 figures, 1 appendix, 35 sources were used The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and an appendix. The relevance of the research topic is due to the need for a more detailed study of both the experience of the Russian Federation and other countries in the field of state regulation of the development of the medical equipment market. Understanding the world's accumulated experience in this area is necessary for its further effective application in practice in the Russian Federation, as well as for a rational assessment of the prospects for market development. This work also takes into account the experience of recent years in the field of import substitution and protectionism of domestic manufacturers of medical equipment. The registration of medical equipment and the subsequent control of its turnover were also taken into account. The object of the research is the market of medical equipment in the conditions of state regulation in the Russian Federation and foreign countries. The subject of the study is the state regulation of the market of medical devices in the Russian Federation and foreign countries. The purpose of the study is to analyze the state regulation of the development of the medical equipment market in the Russian Federation and assess its current state, the main problems and prospects in the future to develop recommendations for improving the state regulation of the development of the medical equipment market. The empirical base and research methods include a large volume of materials, including: * Regulatory documents; • WHO recommendations; * Research on the market of medical equipment in Russia from the publishing houses "Remedium" (for 2002, 2003, 2005) and the company MEDITEX (for 2020); * Own quantitative research in the form of in-depth interviews with industry experts and doctors, which was conducted in the period from 01.03.2021 – 30.03.2021. The total number of respondents was 10, the number of respondents included heads of KDL, experts of the medical industry, as well as health care organizers. Scientific hypotheses of this study: 1. The regulation of the medical equipment market in Russia has a number of organizational problems that hinder the full development of the industry and require solutions. 2. It is difficult for domestic manufacturers of medical equipment to compete with foreign suppliers due to the low efficiency of state support for the industry. The qualitative research with the participation of experts had the following tasks: * Identify the attitude of experts to the current situation with the state regulation of the market of medical equipment; * Identify the most important issues and future trends in the industry with expert's survey; * Develop recommendations to currect market regulation issues. As a result of the research, practical recommendations were developed to solve the current problems of state regulation of the development of the medical equipment market.
