Features of the Process of Conducting Business Negotiations in the Framework of Russian-Chinese Interaction

The master's thesis is a study, the purpose of which is to analyze the features of doing business negotiations in a cross-cultural aspect, as exemplified in Russia and China. The relevance of the topic of researching negotiations in a cross-cultural aspect is due to the great interest in the development of soft skills of top managers for effective strategic management in the field of negotiation, both internal and external, in building partnerships. The research paper is presented on 76 pages. It consists of an introduction, three sections (each of which is divided into 3 subsections), a conclusion, a list of sources and applications used. The first section examines the theoretical aspects of conducting business negotiations in cross - cultural aspect. The second section is devoted to the analysis of Russian-Chinese business interaction and the analysis of the national culture of Russia and China using the Hofstede methodology for measuring national culture. The third chapter presents the results of an empirical study with a focus on the specifics of conducting business negotiations by both the Russian and Chinese parties. The main research method of this work is conducting an in-depth interview using the developed guide. The respondents are 6 experts who have experience in negotiating in a cross - cultural aspect with the Russian and Chinese sides. The total volume of work is 117 pages and is accompanied by illustrative, reference and statistical material presented in the form of 8 figures, 2 tables and 9 appendices.
