Knowledge Management in Project Management

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of knowledge management systems development in Russian project-oriented organizations based on the project management maturity level. During the research, a survey was conducted among Russian project management professionals to assess the level of maturity of project and knowledge management, the most stable tools for exchanging and storing knowledge, the main barriers to the knowledge exchange and its accessibility, the main motivation for the knowledge exchange within organization functional units and availability of a regulated process for documenting knowledge after the closure of the project / task. Using the data obtained during the survey, a correlation was revealed between the level of project and knowledge management maturity and suggest a scientifically based approach to the development of KMS in Russian project-oriented organizations based on data of the project management maturity level.
