Governance Structure and Improvement Strategies of Chinese Family Business

Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up, Chinese family business, as an organizational form of private economy, has become the most dynamic and important part of Chinese economy. At present, most of China's family enterprises have got rid of the dilemma of the initial stage and have a good prospect of large-scale development. At the same time, family business is also facing many new problems and challenges. How to establish a suitable governance structure for its development process is the key to ensure the sustainable development of family business. This study takes the governance structure of Chinese family business as the research object, through theoretical analysis, typical case analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, attempts to explore the following three issues: first, the actual situation of Chinese family business at this stage; Second, the influence of the change of Chinese family business governance structure on its business performance and the internal relation law; Third, explore the evolution law of governance structure and the development trend of Chinese family business in the future. The main conclusions are as follows (1) At present, family business is still an effective organizational form with rationality. (2) At the present stage, the main deficiency of the governance structure of family business in China is the management based on blood relationship and the corresponding lack of management resources. (3) Through the analysis of the formation and development of family business governance model, the conclusion of this paper will provide general rules for the transformation of family business governance structure, the impact of family business on business performance reflected in the optimization of governance structure, and the balance of dual governance reflected in the characteristics of family business, This paper puts forward some suggestions on the improvement and development of family business governance structure Keywords: Family business, governance structure, evolution
