The Study of the Effectiveness of the Domestic Tourism Promotion

The aim of the study is to identify factors in the development of the tourism industry (Republic of Tyva) and mechanisms for the region's competitiveness in the Russian tourism market. In accordance with the purpose of the study, the following tasks were set and solved: • Collect and study scientific papers exploring concepts such as tourism destination, tourism system, event tourism; • Conduct a comparative analysis of the studied literature and identify general patterns, relationships and approaches to the topic of attractiveness and competitiveness of a tourist destination, event tourism; • Conduct data collection through questionnaires for event tourism events in Tuva; • Analyze the results and draw conclusions to improve the development and forecasting of event tourism in the region. The object of the research is domestic inbound tourism in Tuva Island. The subject of the research is a set of factors of event tourism in the field of tourism that increase the attractiveness of the studied destination. The theoretical basis is the research works of foreign and domestic authors, educational and methodological materials on such a topic as a tourist destination, the tourist system, event tourism. The methodological basis is represented by descriptive statistics, compilation of a linear regression model, correlation analysis, data visualization. When analyzing the data, we used such statistical analysis tools as MS Excel, SPSS. The practical significance of the work is included in the system of managing the factors of event tourism, which should be improved within the framework of the destination management and increasing the attractiveness of the tourist destination. The volume and structure of the work. This final qualifying work consists of 62 pages. The paper presents an introduction, a theoretical part in the first chapter, a practical part in two chapters, a conclusion, a list of used and literature, applications.
