The Use of Telemedicine Technologies in the Process of Providing Paid Medical Care: Problems and Development Paths

The demand for telemedicine services is actively growing. In this regard, an increasing number of medical organizations are introducing the practice of providing telemedicine services on a paid basis. The purpose of this work is to identify the current problems of introducing telemedicine services on a paid basis and ways of developing the process of providing paid telemedicine services in medical organizations. The paper analyzes the current state of the telemedicine services market; analyzes the current legal regulation of the telemedicine sphere in Russia; defines modern forms and methods of providing telemedicine services; analyzes the practice of introducing telemedicine consultations on the basis of a medical organization in Moscow; analyzes the factors influencing the demand for telemedicine services. As a result of the work, practical recommendations are given for medical organizations on ways to develop telemedicine services to increase income from paid medical activities.
