This master's thesis is devoted to the study and evaluation of measures of state support for small enterprises in the service sector in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that the coronavirus pandemic has led to changes in all spheres of society, including the economy. Today, the state's focus is on supporting small businesses in the most affected sectors.The aim of the study is to assess the measures of state support for small businesses in the context of the coronavirus pandemic from the perspective of individual service sector enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region.In the course of the work, the following key points were fulfilled: 1.analysis of the theoretical foundations of state support for small businesses in the Russian Federation; 2.study of federal measures to support small businesses; 3.study of regional measures to support small enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region; 4.analysis of state support measures for small enterprises in the context of the coronavirus pandemic in the Russian Federation; 5.analysis of secondary information and conducting a structured interview of representatives of small enterprises in the service sector in the Nizhny Novgorod region; 6.identification of recommendations for eliminating negative consequences when receiving state support measures and when exiting the post-crisis period. As a result of the work, the main directions of state support for small enterprises during the coronavirus pandemic were established, and possible negative consequences for entrepreneurs in the post-crisis period were identified.
