According to statistics, Russian landfills occupy more than 4 million hectares, which is 4 times bigger than the area of Cyprus, and every year the area continues to grow by 300-400 thousand hectares. Only 8% of the waste produced by Russians is recycled, and the centralized waste management system works only in Moscow and does not apply to the entire country. The Russian waste management system needs a methodological basis to spread the experience of waste sorting throughout the country in order to reduce the negative consequences of waste disposal. The paper examines the waste management process using the example of the EcoLine company. The purpose of this study is to develop recommendations for improving waste management in the organization. The main tasks that were formulated to achieve this goal: 1. Study laws that regulate this area 2. Find and systematize information about the waste collection process, study foreign experience 3. Choose a notation for modeling the process 4. Modeling the waste management process in the selected company 5. Describe the functional blocks 6. Identify risks, analyze process, and determine what can be improved 7. Develop recommendations for improving the existing business process As a result, the goal of the study was achieved. The designed graphical process model can be a source for understanding and structuring processes in other companies in this area. Developed process guidelines can drive company growth and additional profits through capacity expansion.
