Educational Programme: Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2021

What is the concept of the father from a psychoanalytic point of view, what is his origin and what role does his function play in the individual and collective psyche? In my work, I will address these three key issues. The purpose of the work is not to once again fully consider the whole sphere that the problem of paternity covers, but to reflect, on the one hand, on clarifying the paternal function and its influence on the functioning of the psyche, and on the other hand, to put forward a hypothesis about the paternal principle, which is the "initiator and leader" of mental life and to study how it relates to the paternal function.
