In a family which members are considered to be colleagues to one other and a line of work is connected to rewriting desired-by-nobody directories and glossaries, ten-year-old Aster can seek support only from his Mum. Together, they make up magical games, explore unfamiliar territories, and keep being two closest people to each other. And when time comes for Aster to join the family business, Mum is aimed to help him escape the gray and dull reality. Because instead of outdated dictionary, she will introduce him to the world of magic stories, narratales, and it is hard to tell whether they are fiction or reality. Narratales are six completely ordinary stories that happened in a completely unordinary world. Around here, three witches, who are constantly seeking for a fourth one to join them, run the show. Around here, the most disastrous calamity is a stealer of colours. Around here, winds are terrified of flying, and princes escape their royal duties by burying their heads into books. This is a world of all things magic, but its inhabitants face troubles that no enchantment is able to solve. You will find out: - is there any use for a heart (What Did Wind Brought); - why does Wind want to be left alone (The Noblest of the Pirates); - that even Moon is tend to have self-doubts (Moon and Thief); - why should one learn to let go of their friends and foes (The Royal Hive); - how to get along with stepmothers (Big Little Isabella); - what secrets do kings hide (The Best Time for a Story); - and how to bake the most soft and delicious cupcakes.
