Constructing the Image of a New Architect: Professional Discourse of Constructivist Architects in the 1920s and early 1930s

This research aimed to analyze professional discourse of the community of constructivist architects (OSA) during the period of their active work and the publication of the “SA” journal (1920s - early 1930s). Based on the material of the professional press and theoretical literature, the author analyzes the features of self-representation and self-identification of architects in the context of socio-political changes in the USSR.
