Year of Graduation: 2021

The research is devoted to the study of the attitudes of Russian Generation Z representatives toward feminism and feminist content on the social network TikTok. This study consists of three chapters and two main stages: a content analysis of videos from the Russian segment of TikTok on feminism and feminism-related topics, as well as a pool of expert interviews aimed at a detailed and in-depth study of russian Zoomers' attitude to feminism in TikTok. Generation Z, as demonstrated by the various studies conducted, is tolerant and loyal to many social aspects, but its attitudes toward feminism in TikTok have not been sufficiently explored. This work seeks to explore more details both in the general attitude of Russian Generation Z toward feminism and the possible differences in attitudes toward feminism in the Russian segment of TikTok among male and female Zoomers in the discourse of psychological differences in male and female perception. What is equally important, the work allows us to test the hypotheses of the study, create a basis for further research on Generation Z and topics related to the topic of this study, as well as to use the results of this study for practical purposes.
