High-Immersive Interactive Tutoring System for Chemistry and Biology Classes

The current development of educational systems is expeditious. It aims to improve teaching techniques and learning mechanics, enriching the current base of existing methods. The paper explores two mains popular of developing EdTech systems: adaptive personalized learning and high-immersion simulators. For each of these types of systems, the article provides an overview of products on the market with their advantages and disadvantages. Based on these results, the article shows what can be achieved by combining the two directions on one system. Besides, the article considers possible knowledge representation for automatic item generation and discusses the architecture of a system, which combines adaptive learning and high-immersion simulators.
