Nowadays the topic of ecology is particularly relevant in the information agenda. After many years of industrial and post-industrial development, a person is faced with environmental threats that negatively affect not only the environment, but also the quality of his life and health. To address these challenges, the United Nations General Assembly has developed 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which include responsible consumption and production, which involves the use of resources with minimal damage to the environment. One of the main objectives of achieving this goal is to educate people about the concept of environmental awareness, both in production and consumption. To do this, the states of various countries introduce disciplines in educational institutions that form students ' ideas about environmental awareness. Large companies are developing new production models and products that correspond to the concept of conscious consumption. In this way, they draw consumers ' attention to the topic and talk about the possibilities of sustainable production and consumption. Small businesses were also recognized as an effective tool for solving environmental and social problems. However, to date, there are no studies that examine the ability of individual eco-entrepreneurs to contribute to the concept of sustainable development.
