Methods to Improve Efficiency in Construction Management

The topic of this Master's thesis is Methods to improve efficiency in construction management. The main management systems in the construction industry were examined in the context of Globalization. The main participants of the project were identified, the most important delivery methods, as well as the use of the advanced technologies allowing the introduction of Integrated project delivery methods and Building information modeling. The subject of analysis is body of knowledge on project management in construction. The object of analysis is national features of the use of project management and the introduction of BIM technology in the construction industry. The main objective - assessment of the effectiveness of the Building information modeling technology on the different stages of the construction project life-cycle in the interests of the achievement of high technical and economic indicators. As a result of the analysis, the main problems, challenges, and benefits of using the Building information modeling as a method to improve efficiency on the different stages of the construction project life-cycle.
