Projects have become a necessary element in the development and further transformation of the company, as they contribute to obtaining a competitive advantage and achieving the business goals set by the organization. Therefore, many companies in which the organizational structure does not initially imply the presence of project activities, have begun to resort to the implementation of projects. Such companies are highly likely to implement projects within the existing organizational structure, most often functional. In the situation of carrying out project activities within the framework of a functional organizational structure, in most cases, projects are interdisciplinary, so a team of specialists from different departments is required. At the same time, team members are not relieved of their current duties. This project activity acts as an additional burden for the project team members and is implemented in conjunction with everyday current tasks. In the framework of this work, we consider the case of implementing project activities in a company with a functional structure. The problem of this study is the application of a suitable incentive system for project teams that are employees of functional departments and are not exempt from current tasks in the department. The purpose of the study is to determine the most effective methods of stimulating the project team in the functional structure of the organization. All the necessary information was obtained by analyzing the existing literature on methods of stimulating the project team, on the specifics of projects implemented in the functional structure, on the time load of the project team, an example of project activities in the company "FOOD VITS PERPUS" and a questionnaire of project team members. The data obtained is used to develop recommendations for improving the current incentive system for project teams in this organization.
