A value-based approach to business management has the potential to form a strategic view of the organization for management and owners, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of the company's activities. This work is aimed at assessing the value of the company PJSC Sovcomflot, the IPO of which was a significant event in 2020, and identifying the factors that shape its value. To achieve this goal, a theoretical study was conducted based on the analysis of scientific literature, as a result of which a profitable approach to assessing the value of the company was chosen. As a result of the analysis of the sensitivity of the cost of PJSC Sovcomflot to changes in the factors assessed within the framework of the revenue approach, the most significant of them were identified. Thus, it was revealed that the value of PJSC Sovcomlot largely depends on the amount of equity and cash flows available for withdrawal by investors on the one hand, and the growth rate of revenue in the industry, risk premium and income tax on the other.
