Product Development and Market Launch of a Regional Tourism Mobile Application

This paper provides a description of the features of regional tourism in Russia and its current state, considers examples of foreign mobile applications for regional tourism, makes a comparative analysis of competitors in the form of mobile applications for tourism in Russia and substitute products. The results of interviews with the target audience of a mobile application for regional tourism in Russia are presented. A business model of a mobile application for regional tourism in Russia has been compiled. A strategy for positioning of a mobile application on the market has been determined. A marketing plan has been prepared for bringing a mobile application to the market. The design of an automated system for a mobile application in the form of diagrams of use cases, activities, sequences and classes in the UML has been carried out. Technical task for the development of a mobile application has been prepared.
