Business Model Development of a Cloud Product based on an Analysis of Competitive and Market Practices

This paper describes a market analysis of cloud video analytics products and the development of a product business model based on it. The paper examines the markets for cloud solutions and video analytics, and then focuses on their intersection – the cloud video analytics market. Existing players, influencers and possible threats are considered. A modernised business model, based on the earlier analysis, is proposed. Structure of the paper: the first chapter includes an analysis of the subject areas, namely video analytics and cloud solutions. The second chapter is a description of the methods by which the competitive analysis will be performed. The third chapter includes a description of the already existing cloud solution market players and their products as well as PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis, competitor map and SWOT analysis. Chapter four is a review of existing methods for building business models and selecting the most appropriate one. The fifth chapter is a development of a business model for a cloud product. The number of pages of the paper: 52.
