Crawdinvesting as an Innovative Method of Startup Financing

Abstract TOPIC: Crawdinvesting as an Innovative Method of Startup Financing The volume of the thesis is 41 pages taking into account all sections. When writing the final qualifying work, 31 sources were used. Keywords: crowd investing, crowdsourcing, technology startups, investor, project implementation, project financing, ICO With the development of technologies, there appear new ways to support and finance projects. Thanks to crowdfunding, anyone can support a specific idea, as well as be able to get potential profit from a successful startup. This qualifying thesis considers crowd investing as an object of research. While the subject is technology startups. The narrowing down of the type of startup is done to obtain more accurate bottom line data, as well as to study in more detail the technological ideas that are the engine of society's progress. First of all, it is worth noting the goals and objectives of the research work. The main goal is to develop recommendations for financing technology projects using crowd investing. To achieve it, it is necessary to solve the assigned tasks, among them: - study of the theoretical foundations of crowd investing, including bases for financing projects, crowd investing itself and understanding the features of technology startups as a stage of project implementation - carrying out empirical research in a survey format, as well as analysis and correlation of the received responses - and as a result of the research, the formation of recommendations for reducing risks during crowd investing in technology startups As a methodology of work, both theoretical and empirical research methods were used. Analysis, synthesis and induction helped to consider the theoretical basis, to bring conclusions to one whole, and also to generalize examples based on private practices. The main results of the study showed that all the tasks of the final qualifying work were completed. Thanks to the data obtained from the survey, it was possible to analyze the answers and make recommendations. The possibilities for the development of crowd investing in the future were also assessed. The results of the work will be relevant for young investors who plan to finance projects and support technology startups. Also, the analysis can be useful for developers of technology projects, who will be able to understand the model of investor behaviour and better communicate with them, in connection with which the entire market will develop and move forward.
