The Risk Management of the Amur Gas Processing Plant Construction Project

The research work addresses the problem of risk management in the oil and gas sector and focuses on the «Amur Gas Chemical Complex» project. The main aim of the study is to determine potential risks of this project and make proposals for managing them. The overall goal of this investigation is to identify and assess risks of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex project. In the framework of the study, the tasks to achieve are to reveal specific features of risk management processes in oil and gas industry; to identify the risks of the «Amur Gas Chemical Complex» project; to conduct a risk analysis of this project. The applied methods are PEST, SWOT analysis and probability and impact matrix. The main result of this research work is to develop recommendations appropriate for project management in the oil and gas industry.
