Work relationship management and team building in project-based management in companies is a relatively new and little-studied topic. The relevance of this topic is explained by the fact that organizational success largely depends on the effectiveness of the management of team building processes, because the correct management of the organization's human resources creates a noticeable competitive advantage. The purpose of the presented study is to investigate the methods and mechanisms of forming a project team within the scope of large companies (using the example of «Coca-Cola HBC»). The methodology of this work includes quantitative methods, such as the use of role-based approach, a questionnaire method using the Belbin questionnaire as well as statistical methods of analysis (using statistical analysis packages SPSS Statistics, MS Excel). The study is based on a sample of 7 Coca-Cola HBC project teams. The work consists of three parts. The first chapter presents an analysis of the academic literature: describes the project and project-oriented form of business organization and human resource management, the formation of the management structure depending on the type of organizational structure, the main approaches to the formation of the project team (competence-based, role-based approaches). The second part of the paper reveals the characteristics of the Coca-Cola HBC company, examines the company's human resource management and project teams, as well as domestic and foreign experience in forming project teams by leading companies. In the third part, a practical study is presented, including the choice of the research methodology, the description of the questionnaire, the presentation and interpretation of the results, and practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of team interaction in Coca-Cola HBC. This work will expand and supplement the existing layer of scientific research in this area, as well as confirm that project teams in the context of project-oriented management are really seen as potentially more effective if they include the most diverse composition of the expressed role carriers in accordance with the Belbin model. After the analysis, it was determined that a critical factor in the formation of a successful team is role compatibility, effective teams can be teams with a variety of combinations and expressions of roles, the absence of certain team roles can negatively affect the results of the team, as well as the final effectiveness of teamwork is influenced by such criteria as uniformity and the degree of balance of the team.
