Improvement of Planning Processes by Application of Supply Chain Planning Systems

The thesis on "Improving the processes of supply chain planning in the implementation of information systems" contains an introduction, 3 chapters and a conclusion. The main purpose of this work is to form a set of measures to improve the planning processes in the company. The results obtained in the course of the study can be implemented by the focus company in practice. The proposed recommendations can be implemented by the company itself to improve financial and economic indicators and increase the level of competitiveness in the market To achieve the set goals, it was necessary to solve the tasks associated with them: 1) Analyze the theoretical foundations and best practices of implementing information systems at enterprises in the field of warehousing in order to identify the key principles of effective planning. 2) Conduct an analysis of the company's activities, including the logistics component, study its history, market share, economic indicators and best practices to identify problems that can be solved by implementing a planning system 3) Describe the processes taking place in the company, identify the main problems. 4) Develop a set of measures to implement the information system at the enterprise, improve its functioning and eliminate problematic situations 5) Evaluate the economic impact of the implementation of proposals using the Dupont model. The paper analyzes the existing business planning process in a company engaged in mining and metallurgical activities. The shortcomings of the existing process are identified. A new model for implementing the business process in the company using the SAP APO APS system is proposed. The economic justification of the project of implementation of this solution is calculated. It is proved that this project is cost-effective. The main stages of the project were developed, the key roles and their degree of participation during the project execution were identified, and the main risks that may arise during the implementation of the solution were assessed.
