The following paper focuses on the relationship between psychological intimacy and the type of corporeality. The phenomena of intimacy and corporeality have intersection points in the categories of self-concept, the mechanisms of empathy and trust, as well as well-being. However, the relationship between these two concepts still lacks scientific study. The research problem lies in identifying the interrelation between the concept of psychological intimacy and the level of bodily potential realization. The paper has its basis on corporeality research conducted by A. Tkhostova, S. Vilyaeva, L.Yakimova and realized with the help of the questionnaire of the body potential of A. Rozhdestvensky. Great effort has been undertaken to study psychological intimacy by G. Sullivan, V.N. Kunitsyna, T.V. Kazantseva, as well as examined via questionnaire of interpersonal relations by A. Rukavishnikov . Further, research is going to be made of the individual cases using the qualitative lifeline method through the interconnection analysis between lifelines "relationship with the body" and "close relationships". The results proposed will produce a modest contribution in revealing the relationship between the characteristics of corporeality and the quality of individual psychological intimacy.
