Program for Pan-Sharpening of Satellite Scenes

It is difficult to imagine our life without satellite imaging. GPS, maps, architectural projects, ecology observations, weather forecasts - this is only a small fraction of areas which actively use remote sensing and play major role in our daily routine. These images are not received from satellites in a form we use them, but processed using various pan-sharpening methods to improve their quality. The huge number of these methods present differs greatly from each other and require specialized applications to apply. In this paper we will review some of the existing pan-sharpening algorithms and denote the distinctive features of a new application, designed to ease the work with geospatial images and provide tools for their processing.
