Factors Affecting Employees Engagement in the Regional Restaurant Business

In terms of this study the concepts of employee engagement. The main factors which influence employee engagement have been identified. In addition, the main features of employee involvement in the restaurant business were also taken into account. The topic of psychological microclimate in the workplace has been also studied.The main purpose of the study is to identify what factors affect employee engagement on the example of the restaurant business in the city of Kolomna. To achieve the goal, the following actions were performed: 1) Analysis of the literature base on the topic of employee engagement and identification of factors that may affect engagement; 2) Identification of the peculiarities of the involvement of restaurant business employees; 3) Study of the psychological microclimate and its indicators; 4) Development and implementation of an online survey among employees of the restaurant business of the city of Kolomna; 5) Analysis of the obtained data using the SPSS program and hypothesis testing; 6) Identification of factors affecting the involvement of employees of the restaurant business of the city of Kolomna. The research methodology includes the following methods: * Theoretical - analysis of literary framework and well-known researches from the Internet, as well as analysis, synthesis and generalization of data obtained in the course of their own empirical research; * Empirical - conducting a survey; * Mathematical methods - providing quantitative data analysis and comparing the results with the help of statistical methods such as the Kruskal-Wallis H-test and correlation analysis using the Spearman test. As a result of the study, the hypotheses were confirmed, and the factors affecting the involvement of employees of the restaurant business of the city of Kolomna were identified.
