One of the decisive factors for success in the market is its competitiveness. Companies that produce the best product at better prices gain an advantage over the competition. In the system of a market economy, the winner is the one who provides the best quality at a lower price than its counterparts. Companies with higher production costs, more efficient management systems, and better product / service quality have a better chance of surviving the market, gaining greater bargaining power, and ensuring economic stability. Therefore, securing and maintaining a competitive advantage is the keyword of any organization. To achieve this goal. Through it, a plan for managing the company is created. Without a strategy, managers do not have a well-thought-out plan of action, which leads to negative results. This paper will consider recommendations for improving the competitive strategy of the restaurant "N". This topic is relevant, since the public catering market in Russia is undergoing great changes in connection with half of the last events.
