Academic Mobility as a Tool for Personal Development of a Manager

The ultimate goal of given study is to identify the impact of academic mobility programs on the formation of cross-cultural competencies and personal development of students. The objectives of the study have already identified some methods that are planned to be used in the implementation of this work. To achieve this goal, it is planned to use the analysis method to decompose the object under study into components for further study. It is also planned to conduct in-depth qualitative interviews with students in the number of 5. In-depth interviews will be conducted using the "snowball" method. In addition, to complete the research tasks, a survey will be conducted based on the knowledge gained during the processing of in-depth interviews. The survey will be conducted using social networks and its own database of respondents. It is planned to interview 200 respondents. Based on the data obtained during the analysis of the research object, conducting in-depth interviews and surveys, using the induction method, conclusions will be drawn about the impact of participation in academic mobility programs on the acquisition of cross-cultural skills and factors of internal development. Requirements for respondents: a student/former student of a higher educational institution who has participated in the international academic mobility program in the process of studying at the university for the last 3-5 years. The results will be expressed in the format of the developed criteria for the impact of academic mobility on the formation of the necessary cross-cultural competencies, as well as in the application of the identified criteria to the quantitative and qualitative data obtained from university students during the survey. In addition, the results will contain conclusions about the importance of student international mobility programs in the formation of competencies necessary for becoming a competitive specialist in the field of business/management in the labor market.
