Developing a Sustainability Strategy for the Business School as a Global Player

This work has identified the critical role of Graduate School of Business (GSB) as a community institution with the great impact in achieving a sustainable future. For a business school to fulfil this role, a sustainability strategy is necessary. It is for this reason that the major goal of this work is to create a strategy of sustainable development of the Graduate School of Business to 2030. The tasks that contribute to this goal are as follows: 1. to show the role of business schools and its impact on the society; 2. to identify driving factors that contribute to the sustainable development of business schools; 3. to develop the mission, vision and principles of sustainable development for the Graduate School of Business; 4. to conceptualize a sustainability strategy for the Graduate School of Business. Through the developed strategy, the business school will be able to make a significant contribution to society. The business school will strive to solve global problems by using its experience and knowledge and by integrating its processes and learning with the processes and goals of society. The strategy will enable the business school to contribute to a sustainable future both locally and globally.
