Currently, cognitive studies of the digital environment become more popular. However, in fact, very few studies aimed to find mechanisms of how the digital environment influence attention. Digital environment mechanisms are digital environment features that may influence parameters of attention. In our work, we attempted to investigate the richness of the digital environment. Our purpose was to conduct experiments where sustainability and shifting were measured in simple and difficult conditions. Modified Burdon test was used to estimate sustainability and shifting of attention. Obtained results showed that attention is less sustainable in simple condition, what was reflected in lower accuracy of performance in Burdon test. Also, there were no differences in estimates of attention shifting. The current study may expand common knowledge about features of the digital environment and their influence on attention
