The work is devoted to establishing the relationship between social and emotional skills and subjective well-being for younger students. Today, the focus of the educational system is on the complex development of the child. It is assumed that the development of social and emotional skills contributes to the change in subjective well-being. Despite this, the topic of the relationship between them is not sufficiently studied and there is no certainty about what this relationship is. In this study, the "Social and Emotional Skills Questionnaire" was used to assess social and emotional skills, which consists of three scales: goal achievement, working with others, and managing emotions, as well as the "Subjective Well-being Questionnaire at School", which used the general index of subjective well-being. The sample consisted of 861 3rd grade students. As a result of the regression analysis, it was shown that socio-emotional skills are positively associated with the subjective well-being of primary school students.
