The Level of Parenting Stress and Child Anxiety in the Families of Completed or Pending Divorce

This master dissertation " The Level of Parenting Stress and Child Anxiety in the Families of Completed or Pending Divorce" explores the connection between stress of parent and anxiety of a child in families with different level of divorce completion, as well as an idea of the banance relationship between a parent and a child living together. The research carried out contributes to the development of the concept of “completed” marital divorce. The study involved 46 parent-child dyads. A parent who has had a marital divorce experience more than two years ago and his child is between the ages of 10 and 12. As part of an empirical study, it was revealed that anxiety of a child and stress of a parent depend on the degree of "completion" of a marital divorce. The child's interpersonal anxiety depends on the presence of manifestations of asthenization of the chronic stress of the parent with whom he lives. The data obtained are important not only for the study of factors in divorce situations, but also for their application in psychotherapeutic practice in the field of family relations in a divorce situation.
