The master's thesis is devoted to the role of the transgenerational factor in the psychological and career well-being of the individual. Its goal is to develop a visual and in-depth study, including scientific and practical components, which proves the direct connection of the well-being of the modern individual with the history of his ancestors and presents possible ways to transform this connection and consciously manage to limit family patterns. This work examines the main approaches of theorists to the issue of transgenerational transmission of family experience and its impact on the life scenario of the individual and then demonstrates these manifestations in concrete practical cases. In the course of the study, the concept of the genogram as a method of working with the transgenerational factor was revealed. Special attention is paid to the concept of psychological well-being as the main goal of the joint work of the coach and the client. A survey was also conducted among sixteen people, allowing you to see a cross-section of the understanding of well-being by today's person, as well as to get other information about the individual and its connection with the ancestors. As a result, the work proves the high practical significance of the transgenerational approach, which allows us to study the history of the family in several generations, to identify the degree of awareness about the history of their family, and to understand the quality of the emotional connection between its members, as well as to detect and transform limiting beliefs and patterns that stand in the way of the well-being of the family and the individual in different plans.
