In recent years, there have been more and more theoretical works, but also purely empirical studies on the relationship of narcissistic personality traits with various aspects of leadership. The object of research in this paper is a real-life organization, in which the manifestations of narcissism are considered at various levels of management. The aim of the study is to use a psychoanalytic approach to identify how narcissism manifests itself in the organizational context, how it affects various aspects of the activities of a large organization. The practical objective of this work is a practical study of the manifestation of narcissism in a real-life organization in the format of psychoanalytic business coaching. Research methods: description of the context and business environment of the company under study, analysis of case studies of managers at various levels. Based on the results of the study, it is possible to draw conclusions about the presence of narcissistic personality traits of managers in the company under study as a trend. This negatively affects the effectiveness of the organization, the creative component and innovation of employees, the involvement and atmosphere in teams. The results obtained can be used both within the organization under study and in other companies. Based on the analysis and conclusions made, it is possible to build a comprehensive system for the development of narcissistic managers in the organization, to stop the negative manifestations of this trait, to switch the focus to the possibility of its positive use. In addition, psychoanalytic business coaching, even in the context of corporate practice, can give managers powerful support in working out their own fears, pains, anxieties and vulnerabilities.
