In last few decades behavioral researches have evaluated women to be more caring, altruistic, humane and empathetic than men. These results imply that females should be especially successful in promoting more humane and peaceful government. The hypothesis builds on an idea of alignment of forces launched in gender studies and feminist theories, and emphasize how the increase of women parliamentary representation will affect the alacrity of the government take part in militarized disputes and conflicts. In other words, the study examines the extent to which the representation of women in the legislature or executive branches of government directly and indirectly is associated with the use of force by a state. We are inspired by the public opinion literature and behavioral studies, which shows indicates that females' position towards the use of force vary from those of males, to claim that the more women presence in parliament the less will be the level of militarization. The results imply that increasing the level of women legislature participation might be one powerful form of restricting the interstate violence.
