Digital Technologies in Historical Museums

Digital technologies are becoming an integral part of modern museums. Museums strive to introduce new interactive techniques to interact with the audience. The present study is devoted to the aspects of transformation of the museum's role in modern society under the influence of all-round informatization. Particular attention is paid to the digital technologies of the exhibition and virtual spaces of museums, the classification of the tools used is made. Finally, a corpus of museum cases on the use of digital technology is studied, on the basis of which the conclusion of the current stage of informatization of museum space is made.
