In the course of the work performed, the problem of stopping the operation of a large number of railway tracks and branches, their coming into disuse, with the subsequent complete loss of any transport functions in the transport system of Moscow and the inability to restore their functioning as an element of railways was considered. Initially, an analysis was made of international and Russian examples of the revitalization of unused railway corridors. Based on the analysis, it was understood that the main options for the revitalization of unused railway tracks are: the creation of parks, the organization of green trails( greenways), the launch of trams, the creation of bike paths, the organization of hiking trails. The next stage of the work was to collect information about the status and location of the branches selected during the analysis. When selecting potential objects for revitalization, the lines that are located in different functional zones and have a unique location and sufficient length were selected. During the analysis, the following ways were selected for a detailed selection of revitalization: • Access road of the Tushinsky plant of reinforced concrete structures; • Access road of the Kurchatov Institute; • Access road of the State Space Research and Production Center named after M. V. Khrunichev; • Access road of the Moscow Electric Plant; • Access road of FSUE "59th Arsenal". The last stage of the work was the selection of a possible revitalization option for each path. Based on the analysis of many factors, it turned out that the best option for all paths would be the organization of a bike path with a pedestrian zone (except for the line in Fili – for it, the best option for revitalization would be the creation of shared space).
