The article examines the problem of insufficient efficiency in the use of aerodrome territories, both due to methodological shortcomings in the procedure for their establishment, and due to insufficient acquaintance with the most successful practices of such use. The importance of the problem is reinforced by the vastness of this type of territories, which often include entire settlements within their boundaries, and limit their territorial and functional development. The key issue of the work is the possibility of systematizing amendments to the regulatory and methodological procedure for establishing the boundaries of aerodrome territories, as well as the most effective methods and methods of their use in foreign practice. The relevance of the study is determined by the fundamental novelty and significant scale of work on the preparation of making clarifying changes to the rules of land use and development, which include zones with special uses and restrictions on the use of land plots and capital construction projects provided for by federal legislation within their boundaries.
