Comparison of Exploratory Factor Analysis Methods in the Statistical Package IBM SPSS, in the Python and R Environments

In this paper, we examined the differences in the results obtained by the most commonly used methods of intelligence factor analysis, conducted in the IBM SPSS program, as well as in the R and Python environments. The work is based on a statistical experiment, during which the data is stimulated by the specified parameters and their further analysis is carried out. The results obtained allowed us to conclude both about the quality of the results of different methods in one program, and about the quality of the results of one method in different programs. Based on the results of the work, we came to the conclusion that not only the method of obtaining the factor solution, but also the data analysis program used affects the results obtained. So, depending on the method used and the characteristics of the data, the results in different programs can be almost identical or very different.
