The goal was to develop a methodology for the formation of urban planning regulations of the territory, taking into account the physiology of human visual perception, in particular, the development of the limiting parameters of the building. It was also supposed to further approbate the methodology in order to check its applicability for specific planning situations existing in the urban environment. The developed methodology makes it possible to determine the values of a whole list of limiting parameters of the building, regulating its height, length along the streets, detailing and division of facades, silhouette outline, etc. The basis for her work is the criteria for the comfort of visual perception, which, based on the analysis of literary sources, were determined during the study.
