Borders in Cyberspace: Barriers and Opportunities for Business Internationalization

Business internationalization is growing now and the majority of entrepreneurs try to apply it through cyberspace. Various companies and firms operate in the Internet and do it through different options. These options can be as advantages and disadvantages for them, so that they can be called barriers. Analysis of these barriers for companies will be designed through three main factors: governmental, commercial and technological barriers. Optimal strategies will be designed for companies through various cases. Moreover, some barriers might shift the borders of business internationalization and we will analyze how cyberspace has already been affected. Our aim is to make contribution to commerce that is why results of this thesis paper will be applicable and help others to reform their business internationalization in more optimal manner. The methods of our research will be mostly cases. Our suggestions about results as following: we think that in many countries there are many factors which affect cyberspace and also businesses which operate and use cyberspace for their needs. It creates as barriers (problems) and as opportunities for managing as companies would like. These factors are price discrimination, availability of products in different countries, government laws, internationalization and others.
