This theme is really relevant especially in modern times. First of all, it has global significance in cultural aspects and may influence its development in future. Moreover, this will clearly illustrate to society how such crisis circumstances can change their life but also open new horizons and give an opportunity to learn and to see what that couldn’t do before, in calm times. However, it should be said that COVID-19 led to irreversible changes in all spheres of our life and also culture. Besides, these occasions happened relatively recently and this is the reason why nowadays there is not so much literature about its impact and effects. But it is appropriate to notice that some countries have already made their individual researches about the situation with the museums during the pandemic. For example, there were published such works about features which Italy, Spain, Scotland, China, US and UK faced with. Using the Museum Night as an example, we strive to explore new opportunities used by museums and other cultural institutions around the world to attract new audiences and subsequent organizational development during periods of lockdown and significant constraints. Key words: Event management; Museum; COVID-19; Pandemic; Night of Museums; Online format; Globalisation; Digitalisation; International. Research Question: what features can be highlighted because of the pandemic which led to on-line format of museums night? How do various countries’ ways of holding the event differ and coincide?
