The Use of Copula with Short Past Passive Participles in Standard and Learner Russian

This final qualifying work is devoted to the study of the use of the copula to be with short past passive participles in standard and learner Russian. According to the description of the theoretical basis of syntactic absence, passive constructions with passive participles in Russian language, as well as the analysis of contexts in the National Corpus of the Russian Language, a research experimental survey was subsequently developed in order to identify what predictors exist in the choice of the passive construction "verb" to be "in the past tense + short passive participle" and "0 + short passive participle" in Russian language.
