In the modern world, there is a steady tendency towards increasing interests in Russian language studies among foreign citizens from South Asia, in particular China and Japan. The errors encountered in the works made by students with native Chinese and Japanese languages are extremely diverse and their analysis helps to carefully examine the nature of interference and get closer to the goal of eliminating writing and oral mistakes. The comparative analysis made in this research paper allowed us to determine the area of some discrepancies in the linguistic structures of the Russian-Chinese and Russian-Japanese languages at the phonetic and grammatical levels. As a result of the research work, the mistakes of Japanese and Chinese students with spelling and grammatical interferences have been classified and highlighted.
