The paper discusses the issue of the most complete and cognitively motivated display of linguistic data in a constructicon - a database of structures that fill the gap between the lexicon and grammar. We provide an example of building a construction family by analyzing the syntactically homogeneous material - caritive constructions with preposition bez 'without'. Usage-based data on the frequency of slot fillers helps us to distinguish constructions with desemantized predicates, in which the absentee is included in the argument structure. We also discuss the transitions of the VP without NP-Gen construction into various contiguous domains of meaning. Such transitions connect the family of grammatical caritatives with other semantic categories, which opens up the possibility for research in the field of typology of constructions.
