Religious and Legal Norms in Yezidi society

The master's thesis examines the features of religious and legal systems, as well as analyzes such patterns of formation and functioning on the example of the system of religious law of the Yazidi community. The author studies the peculiarities of the influence of religion on the formation of statehood and law on the specific example of a religious community of believers, analyzes the distinctive properties of the application of religious norms in various systems. The dissertation can be used by students of educational institutions of higher education studying in the direction of "Jurisprudence". Keywords: Yezidism, historical and legal doctrine, religious community, religious legal system, comparative law, extraterritorial nature of the legal norm.
