There is no unified articulate assessment of the 1990s in the political discourse, nor is there an answer to the question of whether the transit process has ended. At the same time, the epithet "dashing" was fixed in the public field for the decade, which sets the corresponding framework for the perception of time. However, as the study of A. A. Bonch-Osmolovskaya showed, the designated adjective was assigned to the decade only in the mid-2000s, which makes it possible to raise the question of the nature of the mythologization of the era. The current study raises the question of what categories the witnesses of the 1990s comprehend their experience "here and now", which aspects of reality are especially actualized and mythologized.
